The guys from MAGLA like to venture into projects ‘on the side’ now and then.
Three of the band members (Mate, Danny and Rob) previously lead their band “Artcave” which recorded some original Croatian and English material. The recording of these songs reached only demo level, however, the CD found its way to Croatia where it was brought to the attention of the late Zdenko Runjić. To the band's amazement, Zdenko invited Artcave to perform as guests at the prestigious Melodije Hrvatskog Jadrana song festival in 1997. The band flew over and featured as special guests for the final night’s entertainment.
